Player Eligibility

  • For event  Ages 12 – 18: Juniors who have not reached their 19th birthday and have not graduated high school* as of January 1 of the event year are eligible. Once a player starts college, they are no longer eligible, regardless of age
  • Female junior golfers meeting age requirements at the time of competition
  • Demonstrated success in high-level junior or amateur competition
  • Competitive scoring history appropriate for championship-level play

Field Selection Criteria

Entry into the tournament is selective and merit-based. Selection is determined by:

  • National junior golf rankings
  • Scoring averages and recent tournament results
  • Performance in recognized junior and amateur championships
  • Exemptions granted by the Tournament Committee

The field is intentionally curated to maintain a high competitive standard.

Need to Know

Pace of Play: Pace of play guidelines can be found here. Please review them before the first round!

Spectator Golf Carts: Spectator carts are not allowed during practice or tournament rounds without a government-issued Blue Permanent Handicap placard. Please contact mci@cameronchampfoundation.org if you need a cart. For Thursday’s practice round, spectator carts can be rented for $25 per person.

Caddies: Caddies are allowed for players in the 11-and-under division.

Parking: Parking at Memorial Park Golf Course is $1 for every 3 hours. Download the ParkMobile App or pay at the kiosk.

Scorecards: Players will be required to bring a smartphone or device with internet capabilities that supports the Golf Genius app (available on iOS or Android) to use for official scorecards and live scoring. Please make sure you have the most updated version of the app. Each player will be provided with a Golf Genius ID at the starting tee and will be assigned to mark for another player in the group. Players are responsible for providing their own device and ensuring it is fully charged for the round.

Rangefinders: The Mack Champ Girls Junior allows the use of distance-measuring devices in all competitions. If, during a stipulated round, a player uses a distance-measuring device to gauge or MEASURE OTHER CONDITIONS that might affect his/her play (e.g., gradient, wind speed, temperature, etc.), the player is in breach of Rule 4.3(1).

Push Carts: Push carts (non-motorized) are approved for use by all players as permitted by the host facility. Players are responsible for providing their own push carts.

Practice Rounds: The following rules apply:

  • Players must always carry or push their own bags.
  • Parents, spectators, and coaches MUST always remain on the cart path. No exceptions.
  • Players must play ready golf.
  • Players must not hit two shots at any time during the round. After normal completion of the hole, players may choose to play an additional 2-3 putts OR chips per hole, but NOT BOTH.
