MCI for Girls
Hole Locations: Round 2
Notice to Players: Please review the Notice to Players.
Schedule of Events: A complete tournament schedule is here.
Practice Facilities: The driving range and practice putting greens will open at 7:30 AM on Saturday.
Unreasonable Delay Policy: At all MCI events, players will be warned after a first recorded bad time, defined as more than 40 seconds to hit a shot. Players will receive a one-stroke penalty after a second recorded bad time. Please direct any pace of play questions to the starter.
Learn more about the AJGA’s Unreasonable Delay Policy.
Greens Reading Materials: Any yardage book or Greens Reading Material that a player uses for a stroke from the putting green or a stroke from anywhere with a putter must conform with the limitations in Clarification 4.3a/1. Handwritten notes about a putting green must be written by the player and must meet the size limit. The book cannot be larger than 4 1/4 inches by 7 inches. Notes written by anyone else, including a parent or coach, cannot be used during competition to help read the line of play when playing from the putting green or using a putter from anywhere else on the course. Please refer to the two links below for additional information.
Spectator Golf Carts: Spectator carts are not allowed during tournament rounds without a government-issued Blue Permanent Handicap placard. Please contact Abby Grzetic ([email protected]) prior to Friday if you are in need of a handicap cart.
Caddies: Caddies are allowed for players in the 12-and-under division.
Scorecards: Players will be required to bring a smartphone or device with internet capabilities that supports the Golf Genius app (available on iOS or Android) to use for official scorecards and live scoring. Please make sure you have the most updated version of the app. Instructions for using the app can be found here and here. Each player will be provided with a Golf Genius ID at the starting tee and will be assigned to mark for another player in the group. Players are responsible for providing their own device and ensuring it is fully charged for the round.
Rangefinders: The Mack Champ Invitational allows the use of distance-measuring devices in all competitions. If, during a stipulated round, a player uses a distance-measuring device to gauge or MEASURE OTHER CONDITIONS that might affect his/her play (e.g., gradient, wind speed, temperature, etc.), the player is in breach of Rule 4.3(1).
Push Carts: Push carts (non-motorized) are approved for use by all players as permitted by the host facility. Players are responsible for providing their own push carts.
Yardage Books will be available to all competitors. If you plan to play next year, please keep your book!
